Believe it or not - you do have a legal life. Apart from your other day to day life. Apart from your ordinary life. You usually come face to face with your legal life just when you lease expect it. And certainly when you don't need it or want it.

I've been practice law over 30 years and I can't tell you how many times people listen to what I have to tell them and in one form or another, tell me: "I don't know that - if only I had known."

If you read this and follow it, you will be well on the road to saving your legal life. Think of it as the ultimate reality legal show - where you can write the script - in advance - to control the legal outcome. And most importantly, you and your family are the stars of the show!

I help a lot of people who have been injured in a car crash. Car crashes change people's lives, affect relationships, change careers and sometimes end careers. People have their entire lives turned upside down, in an instant, only to find out that the driver who did this to them either:

1. Has no insurance, or

2. Has very little insurance (maybe even the minimum of $25,000.00).

Wouldn't you really want to rewrite the "at fault party's" insurance policy before the crash happens in a way that provides that you can be paid the maximum? How can you do this?

You don't even know the person who just crashed into you; You've never known the person who just caused this crash; You had nothing to do with the "at fault party" or their insurance policy or company. Ever.

But you can "rewrite" their policy, in advance, in your favor:

1. If you're injured by a driver who has no insurance, then your "Uninsured Motorist Coverage" (UM) covers you (and sometimes your family); and

2. if you're injured by a drive who does not have enough insurance, then your "Underinsured Motorist Coverage" (UIM) covers you.

Therefore, when the other "at faut party" has no insurance or not enough insurance, then your own UM and UIM policy has to pay you whatever the at fault driver's insurance would have had to pay you if they would have purchased more insurance coverage.

So by making your own UM and UIM limits as high as possible, you can literally "rewrite" the other person's insurance coverage, in your favor, before the crash ever occurs and without knowing anything about the other driver's insurance.

With a simple phone call, you can increase your own UM and UIM limits. It usually is very cheap to buy. We recommend at least $500,000.00 of UM/UIM and probably more like $1,000,000.00.

"Rewrite your script today" and you won't be saying: "if only..." This is truly a legal no brainier and will save your legal life.
